Siddhruv  is an Indian film maker and director known for his works in Kannada cinema. He made his debut as a director  with MARICHI in 2023, and parallel working  on several films since his debut Kannada film industry .   He is currently regarded as one of the promising Script writers and Directors in the Kannada film industry for his creative thinking, innovative subjects and intellectual content and few other production houses in Kannada film industry .

Siddhruv (born 7 Jan 1985) is an Indian actor and director based in Kannada cinema apart from role as director Siddhruv is also screenwriter, dialogue writer and  film producer who is  predominantly working in Kannada films. His debut to Kannada film industry as directional venture in 2023 with film Marichi.

Career

Siddhruv started his career as assistant director and participated in Warner Bros Work Shop and worked in couple of Kannada Films as assistant director.

Early Life:

Siddhruv was born in Krishnegowdanadoddi (Halaguru, Mandya) on 7 Jan 1985 in an agricultural family. He is from village background and his passion took him to direct and produce movie.  Siddhruv original name SiddaRaju Thammegowda, Often his Colleague call Siddu or Sidd. Siddhruv went to Government School at Byadarahalli (Mandya) for his primary education. During his schooling days he was interested to participate in skit conducted in his schools. Later completed college in Rural College Kanakapura and he moved to Bangalore for engineering graduation from AMC Engineering College. During his time at the college, he participated in plays and often formed troupes with his friends. He started writing small stories during his college days. This made him provide a major role for the Marichi movie, before starting his movie career, after graduating, he worked as IT Professional for 15+ years before becoming a director and participated in warm Bro studios work shop and worked with direction team in Kannada film industry for couple of films while he working on IT industry.

Personal Life:

He has a BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from AMC Engineering College, Bangalore. Worked for more than 10+ years as IT Professional before entering in to Kannada film industry. While as a student, Siddhruv had no big dreams of entering glitter world, however an internal passion in preparing small skits and short films during college days. He used to write short stories and direct play-lets during his college days. Later he moved to Bangalore where the regional Film Industry in Kannada language. He was appreciated for his work and success in these plays encouraged and boosted his confidence, encouraged him to dream big as a film maker.

Film Directorial Style:

Siddhruv films often focuses on the relationship between men and women in their routine life circumstances filled with both happiness and hardships. Siddhruv has also appreciated the work of other directors including the recent Kannada cinema hit KGF.

Known for his strong story lines and sensible and realistic portrayal of women, Siddhruv films have largely been clean family entertainment, suspense thriller, drama etc. He has a penchant for humor in his films, and his films have been rib ticklers even though they carry strong messages and handling serious themes.
