Early Life and Education*

Sohit Mishra was born in Thane, Maharashtra on 17th July 1993. Mishra pursued higher education in journalism at SK Somaiya College where he graduated with a degree in Mass Media and then he did his Masters in the same field from KC College Mumbai.

Career*

Sohit Mishra began his journalism career at NDTV in 2017. His reporting has covered a wide range of topics, including politics, social issues, human interest stories and ground reports.

Notable Work*

1. *Ground Reporting*: Mishra is known for his ground reports. One of his notable works includes his coverage during the COVID wave where he walked with the migrants on road and he reported about the conditions of migrant labourers during COVID.

2. *Coverage of Maharashtra Politics*: He has provided extensive coverage of significant events such as 2019 Maharashtra politics earning him recognition and accolades in the field of journalism.

YouTube Channel*

In 2023,.Sohit Mishra launched his YouTube channel, Sohit Mishra Official". The channel focuses on ground reports, political commentary and explainers. As of July 2024, the channel has garnered 383K subscribers and 18 Million views. Notable videos include his discussion the reality of RSS, issues catering to political news across the country.
