Sour Grapes Records, is a record label and collective based in Manchester, UK. Founded in 2017[1] they have organised hundreds of live music events on the grassroots scene, and have been an important figure in creating affordable access to live music events - most notably for their residency[2] at Big Hands Bar. They're known for their love of cassettes, they own and manage Mars Tapes[3], the last cassette shop in the UK, in which they stock their range of psych, garage rock, punk and post punk artists.
They're a member of the Greater Manchester Music Commission[4], set up by the cities mayor.
