Stephen Hyams (born January 20th 1980) is a British writer and director. He is most notable for The Boogeyman (2013).[1][2], an adaptation of the Stephen King novel The Boogeyman. He is a distant relative of director Peter Hyams. In 2015, Hyams wrote and directed short comedy Time Slips, starring Justin Lee Collins.

In 2021, Hyams wrote on children's animated preschool series JoJo & Gran Gran[3]
