Draft:Superhero fatigue

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Superhero fatigue is a term used by critics and audiences to describe the feeling of unsatisfaction surrounding what is considered over-exposure of the superhero film genre. It saw an increase in usage following the release of Avengers: Endgame, with the beginning of the "Multiverse Saga" and the introduction of Phase Four and Phase Five in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Films released during this era may have also been considered by some to be inferior in quality compared to ones released prior, with release dates being less spread out in an effort to fill up release schedules.
