Tanka Lal Ghising (born 18 Januaryy 1985) is an Nepalese Sports Official who is serving as the Member Secretary[1] of National Sports Council (Nepal) from 2021.[2] a pivotal role in which he oversees the promotion and management of various sports activities nationwide. He has also been influential in the field of rugby through Nepal Rugby Association, both in Nepal and across Asia through Asia Rugby.

    • Disability and Loss of Income: Providing provisions for disability benefits and compensation for loss of income resulting from sports-related injuries, ensuring sustained support for athletes in the event of incapacitation.
    • Liability Protection: Safeguarding sports organizations, coaches, and event organizers against potential liabilities arising from accidents or injuries incurred by participants or spectators.
    • Educational Initiatives: Implementing educational programs to raise awareness among athletes, coaches, and administrators about the importance of sports insurance and how to navigate the claims process effectively.
