  • Comment: This could be notable, but both sources are simply photos of the tram. Are there any sources mentioning the tram in use, talking about the design process of the tram, etc? Possibly a case of WP:TOOSOON. Fermiboson (talk) 14:39, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

K-1T is a line of tram cars with 100% low floor level, created by the Tatra-Yug. The wagons have a modular design, so the length can be increased by adding sections. Depending on the customer's request, the wagon can be made with unique interior and technical solutions.

The purpose of creating a design for the K-1M6 and K-1T models in 2016 was a competition for the best design of a tram car

Options[edit]

The tram consists of interconnected sections of the modular type, which can be added at the request of the customer.[1]

The trolleys are swivel and non-swivel, equipped with a two-stage suspension. The manufacturer claims that due to its design, the carts provide the car with greater maneuverability and the possibility of operation on impeccable tram tracks, avoiding the destruction of the tracks and the undercarriage of the car.

The salon is equipped with ergonomic chairs and large windows. The driver's cabin and passenger cabin are equipped with air conditioners, USB ports, Wi-Fi access point.

The first example of the K-1T line is the K-1T306 wagon, which consists of three sections, has two motorized swivel and one non-motorized non-swing trolley. The K-1T306 wagon began to be tested in April 2021 for the purpose of certification. On September 2, 2021, it entered Kyiv routes. On December 26, 2021, 2 more new K-1T306 wagons arrived at the Darnytsia tram depot[2]

On December 20, 2023, a photo of a new car in the Corporate identity of the Odesa public transport utility carrier appeared online. This is the first car out of the planned 13 that the city will receive as part of the contract with the European Investment Bank.
