Waari is a tradition having diversity in itself. People from all sections of society participate in it.

There are devotees not only from Maharashtra but from all over the world. They truly augment the universal spirit of the tradition.

Somehow waari had people from all walks of life but devoid of IT field professionals. Many IT professionals used to know about waari either due to “traffic diversion” notices in their organizations or little through media pictures or news. Many of them were curious but not very sure as to whether they themselves can be part of it or what could be the eligibility criteria etc...

Then in 2006 some of them gathered together and decided to be part of this grand tradition. Those IT Professionals formed a group and walked from Alandi to Pune. This group was later named as “IT Dindi”, as they were mainly from IT field.

Now after almost 2 decades, even though the name IT Dindi, thousands of people from different fields along with friends and families participate in this enriching heritage of hundreds of years to experience the flood of love and faith.

People interested in joining have to just register online – Rest All the arrangements are taken care of by dedicated sevaks of IT Dindi.

Another thing IT Dindi is famous for is the motivational slogan printed on the cap. These warkaris emblazon a motivational slogan on their head caps every year. For example year 2022 was Amrit Year of India's independence and so the caps had the slogan "Amrit Varsh, Vithai Cha Harsh”.
