The Adobe Sessions is the 25th and final studio album by Bobby Vee which was released on February 3, 2014, Recorded in between 2011 and 2012. Vee died on October 24, 2016, two years later.[1]
it contains old and mix favorite including "In My Baby Eyes" Ricky Nelson's "Never Be Anyone Else But You", Don Williams "I'm Just a Country Boy", & Buddy Holly "Love Must Have Passed Me By".[2]
History
[edit]in 2011, Vee was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and stop performing[3] sortly thereafter, he move to Tucson, Arizona, with his family, and made his makeshift studio in the garage of his home.[4] According to Vee, while speaking to The Associated Press "There's some songs he liked, and he "wanted to do some more music", in what would be his final recordings"[4]
