The Doctor of Alcantara is a two-act English operetta (or opera buffa, musical theatre) composed by Julius Eichberg. The libretto was written by Benjamin Edward Woolf. It was premiered at the Boston Museum on April 7, 1862, and was performed at the Théâtre Français in New York from May 28, 1866.
