The Len Deighton Companion is a 1987 book by Edward Milward-Oliver. Published for the first time by Grafton, it covers English author Len Deighton's bibliography from The IPCRESS File to Winter.

Contents[edit]

The book was first published in London by Grafton in 1987.[1] It spans from the publication of The IPCRESS File in 1967 to that of Winter.[1] According to the author, it serves as a "guide to the themes, characters, plots, settings, tradecraft and jargon found in Len Deighton's fiction and non-fiction".[2] It followed the publication of Len Deighton: An Annotated Bibliography, 1954–1985.[3] "Whenever I need to know something about my books I call him. His detailed knowledge is extraordinary", reads a quote by Deighton about Milward-Oliver on the cover.[1]
