History[edit]

Derek Lynch, Elijah Bishop, Tori Long, Caleb Olson and Aaden Moon met while in high school in Western Slope's Mesa County area.[1]

The Lost Junction Band formed in 2021. The band was established when members Lynch and Moon met at an event and decided to create a band with a country sound infused with a "little rock edge." Subsequently, Lynch introduced Moon to Bishop, Long, and Olson, forming the core of the band.

Since its inception, the band has performed at various notable venues in Grand Junction, Colorado, including Warehouse 2565, Mesa Theater, Edgewater Brewery, Copper Club, and numerous others.[1] Additionally, the band showcased their talent at the Country Jam Colorado Music Festival in Mack, Colorado, where they entertained the campgrounds with their music.

Further expanding their reach, The Lost Junction Band has also graced the stage in Aspen, Colorado, performing for the Inspire Aspen Foundation. Notably, the band participated in a competition at this event and achieved 1st place.[2] Their achievements continued, as the group recently secured first place in the 2023 Best Of The West band competition in Western Colorado.
