Thorne Baker AKA Teenage Disaster[edit]
Thorne Baker (born: June 20, 2001 [age 23]), better known online as Teenage Disaster, is an American singer, rapper, game developer, animator, actor, voice actor and artist. His music and media typically revolves around dark and morbid themes like murder and violence.
Personal life[edit]
He was born on June 20, 2001 in Humboldt County, California. Thorne started making music in 2012 at a young age when he was introduced to the ukulele and he started experimenting with the instrument. Before becoming Teenage Disaster he released a few songs going by the name Thorne. The Soundcloud page for Thorne is still up and able to view with 11 tracks on it.
Music[edit]
Teenage Disaster is most known for his collaboration on the song Somniphobia with fellow artist afourteen. The two would later go on to create a musical duo called Grekom while still both having their own solo careers. This would be Thorne's second duo (being part of Cemetery Boys) and lead into him joining his third group being Spider Gang in November 2020. Whilst still being active with Grekom and Cemetery Boys, he decided to leave Spider Gang in June 2022 after being signed to Atlantic Records and not being able to balance his own music and being in such a large group. In 2022 Teenage Disaster released his first and currently only album titled "CREEP" and is still actively releasing music and going on tours.
He has 56 songs excluding collaborations he has done with other artists. Despite having this number of songs he has only released 20 of them to YouTube and Spotify, however some of these other songs have been posted by other users most noticeably Crybox. All 56 song are still available on his Soundcloud page. This number of 56 combined with the 11 from "thorne" gives Teenage Disaster a total of 67 available songs.
Collaborations[edit]
Thorne is the creator of the hit game "Maple County" which centers around the iconic series "The Mandela Catalogue" created by Alex Kister. This game caught the attention of some of the biggest youtubers on the platform such as Jacksepticeye and Markiplier. The attention from this game caught the eye of Alex which lead to Thorne being added to The Mandela Catalogue series in Vol.333 as a leading character "Thatcher Davis". Davis has remained a recurring character through the series with an important role throughout the series.
Apart from his main music channel (Teenage Disaster) Thorne has 2 other channels, "Thorne Baker" where he posts small animated skits and comedy videos and "Handsome Man Friends" a discontinued podcast with his friend Kazen that lasted for 3 episodes although, Thorne himself has said they might make another episode some day.
Thorne and Kazen have another upcoming project they're working on called DEAD DISGUSTING which is their own clothing brand. Thorne has his own clothing brand already, unrelated to dead disgusting, which he uses to sell his merch for his music. In this store he sells: Shirts, Beanies, Hoodies, Posters and for a brief period he sold signed copies of his album CREEP released on CD.
Tours[edit]
Teenage Disaster has had 3 collaborative tours as of July 2023. His first tour was spread across 2021 with Spider Gang members such as: Lil Darkie, Afourteen and BLCKK. Thorne also made a surprise appearance at the second Spider Gang Tour. Although he had left the group shortly before the tour he still attended and performed a few songs on stage with the other members. His second tour spanned from November 30th - December 21st 2022 in collaboration with Sub Urban as an opening to each show. Thorne's most recent tour took place in May 2023 where he toured with Sueco and sold exclusive merchandise which has not seen a common release to this day.
