Tigress Sydney Acute McDaniel (born December 5, 1976) is an American wetland scientist, economist and lawyer.

Education[edit]

She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Education and Environmental Science in 1998 from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T), a Master's of Science in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development in 2013 from N.C. A&T, a Ph.D in Energy and Environmental Systems in 2018 from N.C. A&T, and a Juris Doctorate from William Howard Taft Law School in 2022. She is currently pursuing law clerkship, professorship and license to practice law. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Career[edit]

McDaniel has been a research scientist, a consultant for the Savannah River site nuclear power plant, and a Federal Park Ranger for Shenandoah National Park and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.[6]

Business[edit]

Since 2008, she's operated her own private corporation, PurSUEt of Happyness Corporation, a consulting firm specializing in Applied Science, Business Economics and the Performing Arts. Her corporation has 9 subsidiaries, one of which is an Independent Record Label, Eargasm Records. [7] [8] [9] [10] [11]

She is the founder of 522 Philanthropy.[12] She also owns and operates Probetur Association LLC dba The Ethical Gatekeeper, and Aboveground Railroad Incorporated.[13]

Music[edit]

In 2005, Tigress released her debut LP album, twelve!. In 2009, she released an EP album entitled "Underworld: Full Moon" and an audio book of poetry entitled, "Divine Phlegm: My Secrets." In 2015, she made history when releasing her video album, "Walking Contradiction: Beauty and THE BEAST," becoming THE first Independent video album. [14] [15]

In 2021, she released another LP album, Moonwalkers, which was produced by her son, Asa Renee' Bakari Tiger McDaniel. Tigress, her mother, and Asa performed for the production of Moonwalkers. [16]

In 2022, Tigress released the single "Speak For Yourself." [17] [18] [19]
