Tim Carter is an American musician, from San Francisco, who is best known as the guitarist for the band Kasabian[1].

2005–2011 Early Collaborations

[edit]

Tim worked with Dan The Automator on several albums including Deltron 3030, Crudo with Mike Patton, Féfé, Anaïs Croze, Pillow Fight, Miles Kane, and Kasabian. In 2008, Tim started his working relationship with Kasabian; beginning with what would become the West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum Album (he would later work on every subsequent Kasabian Album). In 2009 Tim was featured as the rapper, along with Chali 2NA, in the Evian commercial featuring roller skating babies which was entered the Guiness Book of World Record for the most watched viral ad of all time.[2]

2013–present Kasabian

[edit]

In 2012, Tim started recording full time with Serge Pizzorno and Kasabian. In 2013, he joined Kasabian as the live guitarist. He currently resides in Leicester, England.[3] [4] [4] [5]

Equipment

[edit]

Tim plays Gibson and Fender guitars. He is usually seen on stage playing 60’s Gibson SG’s, Les Paul Customs, and a custom Telecaster built by guitar tech Rich White. For acoustic work he often uses a Gibson L-OO. Tim plays through Marshall Amps.[6][7]
