Born in Ardmona, Victoria, Australia and currently based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Tom Nethersole released his debut single, 'Build a Bear', on February 5, 2023, establishing his perspective as a young, queer musician whose music focuses on themes of identity, loss, stability and expression.
Airing on the same day as his debut single release, Tom Nethersole's brief appearance on the Channel 7 reboot of Australian Idol televised his regional background and country roots.
With notable performances such as the Always Live Garageband 2023 Show in Federation Square, Tom Nethersole Headline Show at the Workers Club as well as Victoria Pride Street Party 2024, Tom Nethersole continues to establish his presence as an up-and-coming queer performer
