Tricia Lindsay is a former teacher and civil rights attorney. She is currently running for the New York 37th state Senate District.[1]

Career[edit]

Before practicing law, Lindsay was a teacher and administrator in the New York City and Yonkers public school districts for 24 years. She worked with underserved families and advocated for the rights of her students and their families who were part of the criminal justice system.[2]

In 2023, Lindsay represented a non-profit group chaired by Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and parents in a lawsuit against the City of Philadelphia and its health officials over an emergency regulation enacted during the Covid-19 pandemic which permitted children to be vaccinated without parental consent.[3]

Personal life[edit]

Lindsay is a mother of two children.[4]
