Trinity Lutheran Church is a Christian church in Columbia, Missouri
History[edit]
In the early 1900s, the first Lutheran Church in Columbia was established to address the needs of students at the University of Missouri.[1] Trinity Lutheran Church[2] was formally organized in 1925, with Rev. Albert C. Bernthal as its first pastor. In 1958, the campus and parish ministries separated into Campus Lutheran Church[3] and Trinity Lutheran Church.[2] Trinity's current sanctuary was built in 1961, with expansions in 1986 and 1999. Alive in Christ Lutheran Church was formed in 1991 as a mission congregation.[4]
