Truckbase, Inc is a US-based software provider for asset-based carriers in the trucking and logistics industry. It's primary use case is for regional and long-haul fleets, in which it serves as their trucking dispatch solution or transportation management system ("TMS"). Truckbase was founded in 2021 by Bryan Jones[1] in partnership with Boundless Venture Co, a vertical SaaS venture studio based out of Oakland, CA.

The core functionality of Truckbase is as follows:

  1. Trucking dispatch software[2] -- designed to help operations staff automate load processing, driver assignments, truck tracking, and proof of delivery.
  2. QuickBooks integration -- send data back and forth seamlessly with your accounting system
  3. Driver settlements -- handle the nuances of driver pay, with such flexibility as fuel surcharges and stop pay
  4. ELD integrations and truck tracking -- integrate with any of the more than 30 ELD providers that Truckbase can connect with, to join load data with real-time truck tracking
  5. EDI integrations -- for larger customers that require bespoke EDI connections, Truckbase is capable of supporting that
  6. Customer portal -- Via Truckbase, carriers can now offer a customer portal of their own to shippers and brokers, for 24/7 access to their shipments
  7. Profitability analysis -- Data dashboard to assess truck-level profitability, accounts receivable, and more
