Vishak Dudhee (born 1995) is an energy engineer based in England. He is currently a Technical Manager at V-LAB and a Tutor at Teesside University. He was awarded Innovator of the Year at the Young Energy Professional (YEP) Awards in 2023 and shortlisted for the Energy Institute’s International Young Energy Professional Award 2024 for his innovation in the optimisation of large-scale energy digital twins. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a professional member of the Energy Institute.[1][2][3][4][5].

Academic and Professional Background[edit]

Vishak studied for a BEng in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Civil and Structural Engineering [6][7] and a PhD in Energy, focusing on Digital Twins and Cyber-Physical Energy Systems Optimisation, at Teesside University. He is presently undertaking a PhD in Energy at the same institution.[8]

Vishak is a Member of the Energy Institute and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. He actively participates in professional societies[9], contributing his expertise to the editorial review boards of several journals[10][11].

As Technical Manager at V-LAB Ltd[12], Dudhee plays a crucial role in the organisation's initiatives geared towards clean growth, net-zero transitions, and digital transformation. His involvement extends to various significant projects, notably including collaborations with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre[13]

Vishak's innovative work was formally recognised in 2023 when he was bestowed with the 'Innovator of the Year' award at the Energy UK Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Awards[14][15].
