The Wasatch WarGulls is a west region team in the Australian rules football in the United States under the USAFL (United States Australian Football League).[1]

History[edit]

The WarGulls were conceived in 2019, making the WarGulls the 45th team[2] to join the USAFL. They are based in Salt Lake City, Utah[3]. The club is currently composed of a Division IV men's team, a players who compete in Division 1 womens.

Naming[edit]

The Wasatch (WAH-satch) name represents a number of major municipalities in the northern part of the state[4], including Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden, from which their players hail.  The WarGulls name is an homage to the Willamstown Seagulls of the Victorian Football League.

Jumper[edit]

The Wasatch WarGulls' guernsey consists of a teal blue background with a yellow V.
