Watcher is a production studio creating television-style shows and series in the digital space [1]. It was founded by Shane Madej, Steven Lim and Ryan Bergara following their departure from BuzzFeed. While at BuzzFeed, the trio created the viral shows of Worth It and BuzzFeed Unsolved.

As well as the shows, Watcher also produces podcasts [2].

History[edit]

The three founders of Watcher all previously worked for and starred in Buzzfeed productions with two billion views and 15 billion minutes in watch time before leaving the company in 2019 [3]. Inspired by their success and ratings, the trio wanted to build their own brand.

Ghost Files[edit]

Released in 2022, Ghost Files stars Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej visiting haunted placed in an attempted to provide the existance of the Supernatural [4]. The show also attempts to recreate evidence submitted to them from their viewers [5].

Puppet History[edit]

Puppet history is a comedy game show on YouTube. It was created by Shane Madej and stars "The Professor" as the host and self-title proclaimed history master where two contestants (Ryan Bergara and a special guest) compete for the title of history master [6]. The show has 42 episodes over six seasons [7] with season six finishing in July 2023 [8].
