Zakia Fatima is a social media activist, PhD in chemistry, and an ex-muslim atheist. Hailing from a small village in Kallar Kahar, Pakistan, she began her journey at a young age, working with her father, who is a shopkeeper and sweetmaker. Zakia is known for her outspoken views on Blasphemy laws, religious toxicity and women's rights violations, stemming from her experiences as an ex-Muslim, an atheist, and a woman born in a traditional misagonistic society.
Despite facing threats from religious extremists and fundamentalists due to her beliefs and activism, she continues to advocate for change and awareness. In addition to her activism, Zakia has made significant contributions to the scientific community, authoring several research papers that advance the field of analytical chemistry. Her work not only highlights her dedication to science but also her commitment to social issues.
