Zia Park is a racino located in Hobbs, New Mexico. It includes a 150-room hotel.[2] The track races Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses during its race meet. As of 2023, the meet starts on November 3rd and ends on December 20th. The track has a 1 mile dirt track as it’s only racing surface.
Notable stakes races include the $300,000 Zia Park Derby, as well as the Zia Park Oaks and the Zia Park sprint. The track also hosts the Land of Enchantment day, consisting of 8 stakes races for New Mexico Breds with purses ranging from $150,000 to $200,000. [3]
