Since 2010, I have routinely maintained an unbiased record of each local election for Hyndburn Borough Council, improving and evolving the layout along the way. Initially, I copied the existing wiki page for the neighbouring Burnley Council as my first template. back in 2010/2011 I asked my local Council to provide copies of the previous decades worth of election results, and (after they dug around in the council's attic) I also back-filled in the previous decades results, going back as far as 1999/2000 (before and after a Boundary review, which dropped the previous 47-Councillor seats, down to the current 35-seats in play today)>

Until THIS YEAR, whenever I have started prep'ing another wikipage (typically in a January after New years, ahead of that years May elections) it has never been BLOCKED - but this time, it was flagged/moved to DRAFT-ONLY instead of "going live".

Last week, the local Hyndburn Council official published a Notice of Election, citing the deadline for candidates to register (which was Yesterday), and when I "noticed a fault on their own website which prevented members of the public from downloading a COPY of the final 'Statement of Persons Nominated' --- and after they fixed the broken website-links, I dutifully transcribed the Offical Record onto this Wikipage.

I also "popped over" to the WhoCanIVoteFor.co.uk website, and thru their associated DemocracyClub.org.uk sister-site, I also backfilled in the same "Official Record" of local candidates, as I have also done, in previous years (when nobody else, beat me to it first!).

Can anyone (in charge) therefor please EXPEDITE the process of switching this wikipage from DRAFT to "LIVE", before the election is actually 'over' ... on the day, I make a note of the LIVE LocalNewsReporting of the results, and I compare the numbers with those subsequently published by the council, some days later - before uploading the figures into the "Empty Tables", contained within this wikipage.

Thanking you in advance. W. Warrenlm (talk) 14:29, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
