since it was brought up on WP:DISCORD, might as well create a section for it here Arlo James Barnes 09:00, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if there is an official Wikipedia policy surrounding neopronouns. I don't know if they've been used before in an article. If they are not allowed, the article can be switched to use "they" instead. Di (they-them) (talk) 12:46, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Di (they-them): First, just to note, that line was added to MoS about five hours above your comment, without strong consensus; I've reverted it. As to this case: Given that the switch to jregself pronouns occurred as part of a "bit", and given that jreg does not to my knowledge identify as nonbinary, I don't think GENDERID applies here. The Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Life, and The Charlatan refer to him by he/him pronouns; we should probably do the same. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 22:13, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Di (they-them): Most of this old content is junk, but some might be useful to you. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 22:05, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I appreciate the links, I will look to see if anything in the old drafts are salvageable. Di (they-them) (talk) 22:17, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
