Bad sourcing[edit]

The Jamestown Foundation, Jihadology, and Global Risks Insights are not reliable sources. Even if they were, all of them are speculative about the existence of this group. There has been no conformation of this group's existence. There is a reason why there have been ZERO attacks attributed to this supposed IS affiliate. This lack of evidence is reflected in the article; none of the information given about the group is sourced. The sources cited are not only unreliable, they are only cited because the group is mentioned in passing as a possible threat. I am certain that these non-peer reviewed sources fell for a hoax four years ago and their reports are now being erroneously regurgitated by a well-meaning editor. I was unable to find any reliable source that speaks to the existence of this group or its activity in Myanmar. Yue🌙 08:21, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
