Telescopic asterisms too?[edit]
Amateur astronomers know a lot of telescopic asterisms which show pareidolia, such as, for example, the asterism Picot 1 near the bright star Alpha Bootis (Arcturus). This asterism looks like the hat of Napoleon, and is called... Napoleon's Hat. The most well-known (binocular-friendly) asterism is the Coathanger (Collinder 399, aka Brocchi's Cluster) in Vulpecula (it looks like a veritable coathanger!). This asterism has an individual Wikipedia article. I wonder if there ever will be Wikipedia articles for the less known (named) telescopic asterisms (really, there are lots of them!).
