Improvements[edit]

My draft has been rejected twice by this fellow with a name similar to an old-fashioned Japanese gun, to whom I have asked what is wrong. Each time this fellow rejects it, he says it is not "notable" enough, but a book with 49 sequels at least deserves its own article, I think. He has even ventured to sat that it "in the unlikely event it is notable", etc., and I think that borders upon insult. I desire some help. Also, I cannot find very many references to the book excepting itself. 2603:6081:F05:7700:8C37:6404:3A43:39F7 (talk) 19:12, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

“Notability” is a term of art on Wikipedia. Please read WP:N and WP:NBOOKS. If you can not find independent references of the book, it should not have an article. Cheers Mach61 (talk) 23:26, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is not that the book itself is not notable, but it does not seem anyone has read it since the 1970s, and therefore there is not much about it I can find; but it, as I said, warranted 49 sequels. I am debating on that I should give up, as this gentleman with the Japanese name does not seem to want me to publish my article, and this is very stressing. 2603:6081:F05:7700:78BE:4BFB:B798:18CA (talk) 18:23, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Genuine question: What do you think "notability" means in this context? Mach61 (talk) 18:44, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
