Comment[edit]
This table may be worth bring back once there have been more games played in the series just so people have quick view of each teams wins. Smith03 18:04, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was no consensus. --BDD (talk) 16:46, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Minnesota–Penn State football rivalry → Governor's Victory Bell – This article was moved to Minnesota–Penn State football rivalry without discussion. This article concerns only the rivalry as it relates to the trophy, first awarded in 1993. Reliable sources indicate the old name has usage and thus a descriptive name is not required.[1]. Relisted. - You've also requested moving Arizona–Arizona State football rivalry to this title. It can't be both. --BDD (talk) 21:29, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- An embarrassing error, since rectified.--Labattblueboy (talk) 02:07, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. The descriptive title better follows use in sources like these:[2][3] and [4], and is much more natural and recognizable to the lay reader than the fairly obscure trophy. It has been the trend at articles in Category:College football rivalries in the United States to use names like this rather than trophies or nicknames. This series only began in 1993,[5] which is why there's no material from before that.--Cúchullain t/c 16:03, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Not notable?[edit]
The idea that this rivalry is not notable, but that every single individual Pokémon character card is, is one of the biggest faults of Wikipedia. WHO CARES if this rivalry isn't notable to non-fans of American college football? Every single Pokémon card is not notable to non-fans of anime. Err on the side of inclusiveness. 72.105.79.232 (talk) 22:20, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
