RefineryGuyCanada comment: dear SafariScribe (note i have moved all comments to the talk page where I am seeking to debate the notability of Rinaldi), I can understand your position re Rinaldi, but I respectfully disagree that he does not meet WP:CNG. Rinaldi has been the deeply involved in the building 4 very large companies (most being in the largest 1000 corporations of the USA at the time he owned/ran them and they collectively employed thousands). However, Rinaldi has mainly done this as an affiliate of giant private equity companies versus being a public company. In other words, he has largely been able to hide his identity from the public whereas a public company CEO/founder would have had 50-times the public references. This does not change his importance. Also, his is an interesting story of big wins and big losses. The corporate world is trending more towards a Rinaldi-esque world in the future given how few new large companies become public entities these days.
