Last pre NTT (20th century rolling stock)

[edit]

Significantly, these will replace the final vintage-era rolling stock, the dated 1980s R68s with their plastic bowling alley orange seats. No trains were built in the 90s so this will catapault all rolling stock to the 21st century and all will be New Technology Train rolling stock. All the rolling stock between the R32 (New York City Subway car) to the R68, which includes several large orders, look very similar and equally dated. From the 1970 SIR cars to the 1989 R68a there is very little stylistic or user QOL differences. B137 (talk) 03:42, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
