Echinostomatidae is a family of trematodes in the order Plagiorchiida, first described in 1899.[4]

The World Register of Marine Species currently shows a total of 33 genera accepted within Echinostomatidae, subdivided across eight subfamilies, with five genera unplaced.[5]
