Egerton[2] is the name given to the ward and suburb[3] of Melton Mowbray in the county of Leicestershire, England. It is one of the six wards of the town on Melton Borough Council.[4]

Geography

The ward covers the more central and western areas of Melton Mowbray. It is defined by Asfordby Road/A6006 and the A606 road.[5] Also nearby is the former railway line between Melton Mowbray North and Market Harborough.[6] The area is also close to Egerton Park.[7]
