Elissa Mielke is a Canadian singer/songwriter,[1] actress, and commercial/fashion model.[2][3][4] Mielke worked as a fit model in Japan and has modeled for companies like Patagonia [5] and is best known for starring in The Weeknd's "The Zone" music video featuring Canadian rapper Drake. [6] She acted in Lion Attack's short film Mobius,[7] which was chosen for the Critics' Week section[8] at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.[7] [9] She released her first EP [10] in 2015[11] under the pseudonym "Mieke."[12][13] In 2021,[14] Mielke released[15] her second EP, "Finally" on Mom+Pop/Slashie labels under her full name.[16][17] In 2022, Mielke released the single "Paper Moth Flame."[18]
