Ethan Caine (born 20 September 2001) is an English professional rugby union player who plays as a hooker for Sale Sharks.
Career
[edit]Caine attended Kirkham Grammar School in Kirkham, Lancashire, prior to joining the academy at Sale Sharks.[3] He made his first team debut for Sale in the Premiership Rugby Cup during the 2021-22 season.[4] In February 2023, he extended his contract with Sale.[5]
In September 2023, he scored a try for Sale in their opening game of the Premiership Rugby Cup against Bedford Blues.[6] In October 2023, he scored a try in the Rugby Premiership for Sale on their opening match of the league season against Northampton Saints in a 20-15 victory.[7][8] That season, he also played for Sale in the European Rugby Champions Cup.[9]
