Eva Lopez is a French singer.

Early life

Eva Lopez was born in Avignon, France. At the age of six, Lopez began her studies at a dance school in Avignon, then at the modern jazz school in Montpellier. She took part in training courses at the Conservatory of Lyric Music in Béziers while being a chorister in orchestras such as the Grand Orchestra of René Coll, at the same time as she sang in René Cerdan's restaurant in Montpellier.

Career

She was invited by the French Embassy in Italy to sing "La Marseillaise" during the July 14 ceremony.

Another invitation for a July 14, it is in Florence that Eva Lopez gives a concert at the request of the French Institute of Florence and the French Consulate in Florence. Since then, she has been the "ambassador" of French song in Italy and gives many concerts interpreting songs by Edith Piaf, Barbara, Jacques Brel, Gilbert Bécaud, Léo Ferré, Charles Aznavou, but also personal compositions.[1] At the request of the French Embassy in Kosovo, she gave a recital in Pristina during the Francophonie Week.[2] The Maison Française in Washington hosted Eva Lopez for a recital organized by the French Embassy, the day before she performed with her musicians at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.[3]

On the 38th Europe Day, Eva Lopez was awarded the European Personality Prize. The award was presented in the Protomoteca Hall of the Capitol in Rome.[4]

In June 2022, Eva Lopez Quartet performed "Dalida" at the Casalinuovo auditorium in Catanzaro, Italy, a "jazzy" musical creation.[5][6]
