Deutsch: Das 1805 klassizistisch umgestaltete Gebäude geht zurück auf den 1569 entstandenen Bau, der als Französische Gesandtschaft beim Immerwährenden Reichstag diente. Danach diente es als Wohnsitz des Regierungspräsidenten (bis 1932) und bekam deshalb den bis heute verwendeten Namen „Präsidialpalais“. Später (bis 2009) beherbergte es das Polizeipräsidium der Oberpfalz. Heute ist es das „Haus der Musik“ mit der Sing- und Musikschule der Stadt Regensburg.
