Published in 1958 and this copyright was not renewed. Copyright.gov search for The Historical Cookbook of the American Negro-found nothing for the title. The publisher was The National Council of Negro Women. They copyrighted some later items but did not renew this cookbook. Am going to paste what their later copyrights were right here because copyright.gov will be down for maintenance from tomorrow night until Monday morning.
