Soccer is a minor sport in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.[1]

History[edit]

The Cocos (Keeling) Islands national football team has competed in the Inter-Island Cup.[2] In 2015, a Swiss side traveled to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, where they played against the Christmas Island national team.[3]

There has been a league, which contained four teams in the 2003/04 season, which started in December 2003 and ended in May 2004.[4] A Cocos (Keeling) Islands soccer website was created by a fourteen year old.[5]
