Franklin Township is one of thirteen townships in Putnam County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,609 (down from 1,690 at 2010[3]) and it contained 715 housing units.[4]
History
[edit]The Samuel Brown House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.[5]
Geography
[edit]According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 34.4 square miles (89 km2), of which 34.38 square miles (89.0 km2) (or 99.94%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.06%) is water.[3]
