Fredrik Lidströmer

Fredrik Lidströmer (1820–1863)

Fredrik August Lidströmer (1820-1863), was an officer at the Swedish colony of Saint Barthélemy. He was the elder son of Stockholm City Architect Fredrik August Lidströmer. His brother was the Stockholm wholesaler August Lidströmer. He belonged to the Swedish noble family Lidströmer.[1]

Fredrik Lidströmer was born on 2 February 1820 in Stockholm; sergeant at the Uppland Regiment in 1838, second lieutenant in the same regiment in 1841, lieutenant in 1846. He was the acting battery officer (commander) on the island of Saint Barthélemy in 1856 and captain there in 1862. The same year he fell ill and died in Uppsala in 1863.[2][3]

He married Hedda Margareta Catharina Zettersten (1825–1895) in 1856 in Tuna Church, Uppland (Uppsala County), daughter of the farmer Carl Ludvig Zettersten and Catharina Svanberg. The did not have any children and are both buried on Uppsala Old Cemetery.
