Free Range (musician)
Free Range is the stage name of American indie folk musician Sofia Jensen. Jensen is originally from Scandinavia, but grew up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.[1][2] Under the Free Range moniker, Jensen has released one full-length album. On December 7, 2022, Jensen announced plans to release her first album, titled Practice.[3] The album was released on February 17, 2023.[3] Jensen began writing for the album when they were fifteen years old alongside their live drummer Jack Henry.[1] The album received the attention of numerous publications, such as Pitchfork,[4] Chicago Reader,[5] New Noise Magazine,[6] and Paste.[7]
