GoSun is an American company that develops portable solar-powered appliances.[1] The company is mainly known for its solar powered cooking stoves.[2][3][4][5]

GoSun was founded by Patrick Sherwin in 2013.[6][7][8][9] The company is based in Cincinnati, Ohio.[10][11][12][13]

In 2013, GoSun launched its first product, the GoSun Stove, on Kickstarter. The company has since expanded its product lineup to include other solar powered devices including water filters, refrigerators, cooking grills, electric boats and electric vehicle chargers. [14][15][16][17][18][19]

In October 2019, the company raised USD $1.1 million in a Series A round.[20]
