Guo Nan-hung

Guo Nan-hung (Chinese: 郭南宏; October 23, 1936 - January 1, 2023) was a Taiwanese politician.

He served as the Minister of Transportation and Communications from 1987 to 1989, the Political Affairs Councilor of the Executive Yuan from 1989 to 1993 and as the Chairman National Science and Technology Council from 1993 to 1996, having been appointed to those positions by the Kuomintang.

He also served as the President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 1979 to 1987, when he was appointed to the Government of Taiwan.[1][2]

Nan-hung died from COVID-19, aged 86, in 2022.[3]
