Hashim Uddin Ahmed is a Jatiya Party (Ershad) politician and the former Member of Parliament of Mymensingh-8.

Career[edit]

In the early 1950s, Ahmed worked to remove Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from the post of general secretary of the Awami League.[1] He was aided by Abdus Salam Khan, Khairat Hossain, and Almas Ali.[1] Ahmed was a member of the East Pakistan Assembly in 1957.[2] He was elected to parliament from Mymensingh-8 as a Jatiya Party candidate in 1986.[3]
