The ITA Honorary Award, is given by the Indian Television Academy as part of its annual ITA Awards. The award is usually given to television series, events or personalities that have acquired legendary status through Indian television. The award is further divided into three category viz.:
- ITA Award for Milestone of Indian Television
- ITA Scroll of Honour
- Special Award
- GR8 Award
The ITA Scroll of Honour is usually varied personalities from various fields including entertainment, news and politics whereas ITA Award for Milestone of Indian Television is given to television series that have impacted a generation of Indian audience. Special Award, as the name suggests is an award occasionally given to personalities across the television spectrum. The GR8 Awards, powered by GR8 magazine are given to best performing individuals of a particular year
