Intevac, Inc. (NASDAQ: IVAC) is a producer of thin film deposition systems and equipment for making hard disk drives.[2] It is headquartered in Santa Clara, California[3] in Silicon Valley. The company also has offices in China, Malaysia and Singapore.[4]

Founded in 1991 as a spin-off from Varian Associates, Intevac went public in 1995. The company reported revenues of $13.8 million in the first half of 2022.[5]
