JOM Charity Award is an annual award given to acknowledge the achievements of individuals, organizations, and companies as change makers.[1][2][3][4]

Josephine Oboh Macleod Charity (SCIO) SC048839, also known as Jom Charity[5] is the parent's body of the JOM Charity Award, formerly known as JOM Charity Achievement and Excellence Award.[6] The award was first presented in 2017 by Josephine Oboh Macleod.[7][8] The award is presented as an "accolade in the art, culture, fair trade, community, heritage, science, human rights, and environment industry".[9][10]

Nomination process[edit]

The selection process includes nominations, background checks, and board justifications.[11][12]

The meticulous selection process involves a combination of votes from the public and industry professionals.[13][14][11] After the nomination phase, the selection process includes a questionnaire phase.[11]
