Joe Robertson (politician)

Joe Robertson is a politician on the Isle of Wight. He was elected to Isle of Wight Council in 2021 for Bembridge and is the Conservative Party parliamentary candidate for the new Isle of Wight East constituency in 2024.[1]

Political career[edit]

Robertson was the Conservative group leader at the Isle of Wight Council between 2021[2] and 2023.[3]

He was selected as the Conservative parliamentary candidate in June 2023 for the newly created Isle of Wight East constituency[4] as part of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies. He had previously lost out on selection to Bob Seely in 2017.[5]

Personal life[edit]

Robertson lives in St Helens and is married with two children.[6]
